Capturing Carbon infographicFor over a century, ÌÇÐÄvlgoÍøÒ³°æ has taken the long view in managing America’s timberland. We were one of the first to regrow our forests and prove the potential of sustainable forestry, and now we’re building on that commitment by unlocking the potential of our working forests to deliver natural climate solutions at a scale that can make a positive impact today.

Our working forests provide a range of natural climate solutions, including renewable energy and forest carbon projects, mitigation banking, carbon capture and sequestration, conservation outcomes and more.

When these solutions work together, the climate benefits scale faster — as in Maine, where our working forest in the Kibby Skinner area supports renewable energy generation through a wind project and removes and stores additional carbon from the atmosphere through a forest carbon project. And as working forests provide these climate benefits, they can also continue supplying timber for a range of wood products that are essential to our lives.

That’s how we are unlocking the full potential of our forests to deliver climate benefits at a scale that truly matters.
